The Oxford University Malaysian and Singaporean Students’ Association (OUMSSA) was established to provide information and support to Malaysian and Singaporean students at, or desiring to pursue an education at the University of Oxford. The association also aims to promote interest in and understanding of the unique identities of Singapore and/or Malaysia.
It reaches out to more than 120 Singaporean and Malaysian students from all walks of life through its activities, which range from talks and seminars to communal activities such as the Chinese New Year dinner. OUMSSA also organises the annual Asian Food Festival where Asian societies across the University of Oxford showcase culinary delights from the region.
